PEER Club

A co-learning journey for nonprofit leaders

Join the Club!

Leadership can be lonely — even when you’re surrounded by supportive people. Peer Club is a small, curated circle where experienced nonprofit leaders slow down, think together, and recharge. We follow a simple, human rhythm: real cases, honest conversations, practical support.

This autumn, we’re starting a new cohort (online*) and there is the Peer Club Retreat in Brandenburg.

Start date: Thursday 3 September 2026 (4pm UTC)
Timing: ~1.5 hours every 2-3 weeks (Thursdays) • up to 10 meetings
Group size: ca. 8 diverse leaders
Sliding-scale fee: €350-€600 (in person: €550-€850)
Who it’s for: founders, directors, CEOs and senior managers with 5+ years of leadership experience in nonprofits, cultural institutions and social enterprises

 * if there are enough participants from the same city (e.g. Berlin), than we can organise the sessions in person.

What you’ll get:

1) Wisdom
Bring your live dilemmas and get peer-tested perspectives — not generic tips. We use structured case clinics so you leave each session with sharper options, not just sympathy.

2) Development
Commit to a steady cadence of reflection and practice. Over months, the fundamentals compound: purpose, clarity, stamina, and your ability to navigate complexity with your board, team, and funders.

3) Together
You don’t have to carry it alone. The cohort becomes a trusted home base — a place to be candid, to be seen, and to borrow courage.

Who’s in the room:

Curated peers with diverse perspectives and strong values. Selection balances role seniority, sector diversity, and readiness to contribute. A high-caliber cohort is the backbone of the experience.

How it works:

Kickoff session (2h)
Connect, set norms for psychological safety, map shared questions, and co-shape the journey.

8 online sessions (every 2-3 weeks, 1h30 each)

  • Deep-dive case clinics (prepared with the facilitator)
  • Reflection prompts and light documentation

Between sessions (optional)

  • Buddy dialogues / walks
  • Online check-in with the facilitator

Closing circle (2h)
Harvest insights, name next experiments, and decide how the network continues.

Guiding principles:

Peer wisdom > expert teaching. Reflection > prescription. Co-creation > curriculum. Presence > performance.

Topics we might explore:

Shared leadership and co-creation • Working with power, conflict, and equity • Care, stamina, and burnout navigation • Leadership transitions and succession • Complexity, systems change and leverage points • Money and financial sustainability (actual topics emerge from the cohort.)

Practicalities:

  • Duration & rhythm: ca. 3 months (Sept-Jan 2026), ~1.5 hours every 2-3 weeks.
  • Cohort size: 8 leaders with diverse backgrounds.
  • Format: online (Zoom).
  • Regular fee €450 (incl. VAT)
  • Subsidised fee €350

  • A renewed sense of leadership purpose and energy.
  • Case notes and prompts you can re-use with your team.

Facilitation:

Held by Jotham — experienced nonprofit leader and facilitator. Now convening learning spaces with humility, curiosity, and a belief in collective wisdom. Role: anchor the structure, protect the culture, and keep it human-scale; the wisdom comes from all of us.

What happens next: after you submit, I’ll schedule a short intake call to confirm mutual fit and answer questions. Places are limited; cohort composition aims for diversity across roles and fields. Please share this offer with relevant colleagues in your network.
